This V1 policy explains how LemonCampus handles student, applicant, marketplace, accommodation, advert, live, and community information.

Information We Collect

We collect account details, academic profile selections, verification identifiers, profile details, marketplace activity, accommodation and roommate activity, study-material activity, adverts, live-session metadata, reports, and support messages.

Sensitive Identifiers

NIN, School ID, and JAMB-related identifiers are intended for verification workflows only. They are not intended for public display. LemonCampus stores protected forms such as encrypted values, fingerprints, masks, and review metadata where the backend requires them.

Media And Files

Photos, documents, receipts, advert media, and verification files are classified as public or private by purpose. Private files should use temporary/signed access and must not have permanent public links.

Cookies And Sessions

LemonCampus uses secure server-side sessions and cookies to keep users signed in. Users can log out and revoke sessions.

Security And Retention

We use reasonable technical safeguards for V1, including protected sessions, restricted public responses, and careful handling of sensitive identifiers. Retention periods and deletion operations will be expanded as operations mature.

User Controls

Users can update public profile details, sign out, and use report/support channels for concerns. More account-management controls will be added over time.
